With its strong community ties in Logan, Providence Family Medicine is now part of our extensive, physician-owned and operated health services network, established throughout Northern Utah.

We welcome providers Dr. Richard Stevens and Dr. James Mathews. In July, Dr. Andrew Grose will move from Ogden Clinic | Skyline Clinic to practice in Providence.

About Richard Stevens
Dr. Richard Stevens is a board-certified, Spanish-speaking provider. Raised in Cache Valley, he graduated from Utah State University with a biology degree. Dr. Stevens pursued his medical education at The Medical College of Wisconsin and residency at Stanislaus Family Medicine in California. In his free time, he enjoys playing soccer, gardening, hiking, camping, fishing, skiing, and spending time with his wife and kids.
About James Mathews
Dr. James Mathews is a board-certified primary care physician. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Midwestern University and completed his Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton residency. Outside of work, Dr. Mathews enjoys family time. His hobbies include bicycling, traveling, and playing the piano.
About Andrew Grose
Dr. Andrew Grose grew up in Bountiful and received his undergraduate degree from Utah Valley University before attending the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his Family Medicine residency at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky. In his free time, Dr. Grose loves spending time with his wife and four children. Camping, hiking, watching movies, and playing basketball are a few of his favorite activities.
